What is a Traineeship?
A traineeship is a skills development programme that includes a work placement. It can last from 6 weeks up to 1 year, but we think they should ideally be between 8-12 weeks for optimum outcomes.
In an ideal world, Traineeships will be a step into a full-time job, an apprenticeship or a return to further education. They would be positive progressions.
We are partnered with some of the country’s leading providers to deliver innovative, exciting programmes offering real progression opportunities into growing sectors. We ensure learning is progressive and delivers positive outcomes.
All programmes include Functional Skills Maths, Functional Skills English & Digital Skills for those that require it. With an additional sector-specific qualification to support their work experience placement and progression into the sector.

The primary objective of delivering a successful traineeship is to progress the trainee to an apprenticeship or sustainable job.
